Branding and Identity
Identity for the annual art book fair presented by Printed Matter.
The New York Art Book Fair, held by Printed Matter each fall, is the world’s largest book fair for artists’ books and related publications, featuring over 370 exhibitors from over 30 countries, and attended by over 39,000 visitors annually. The identity for the 2023 Fair recalls the countercultural sticker graffiti that characterizes New York City's zine and street artists.
While its impact is wide-reaching and long-lasting, the Fair's physical presence at MoMA is ephemeral and short-lived. Lasting only three days, the Fair's graphics needed to be easily installed and removed.
The stickers designed are illustrative call-outs to funny, classic, and iconic motifs of the city. The names of all publishers have also been crafted into ephemeral stickers for the temporary identity.

There are enough emails in the universe, so I solemnly swear I’ll only send you the most exciting updates—quarterly-ish. And by that, I mean once a year when I manage to pull off my end-of-year thank-you’s and fresh case studies.
