Product activation lighting the way for small businesses during the pandemic through the unique power of scent.
The best scents make people nostalgic for a memory close to their hearts, during the pandemic, local businesses were forced to shut their doors, leaving people missing the scents of their favorite foods.
To keep small businesses running in the wake of the pandemic, nostalgia-fueled fragrance brand Homesick partnered with local businesses to launch a line of candles designed to smell like their cravable items.
Candles were developed to smell just like the signature products of their respective small businesses. In addition to attracting customers, the candles were sold in-store, with proceeds supporting their local small businesses in safely reopening during such a difficult and trying time. Selected businesses included New York City staples like Russ&Daughters, Magnolia Bakery, Petee's Pie Company, and more.
